Fill the Night with Light: Christmas Eve at Peace
There are three slots still available, so come join us as we light up the night at Peace on Christmas Eve!
In these dark times, it is so important to remember how and where light continues to shine in our lives. We invite you to come and experience the lights of Peace on Christmas Eve in a new and unique way.
To accommodate health concerns of the day, we will offer 15-minute time slots for individual family units to enter the sanctuary. If you’ve been following our online worship experiences during Advent, you’ll know that the sanctuary has been transformed. Our focal point has moved to the choir bay with the worship table clad in purple and gold, an Advent wreath, candles, and lots of luminaries. Twinkle lights in our winter trees on either side make the scene truly magical.
The Christmas Eve experience includes a walk, lit by luminaries, up to the choir bay where you’ll have the opportunity to have your Christmas photo taken while listening to special music of the season brought by Dave Tidball. Your next stop will be the hallway outside Pioneer Hall where you can pick up a Christmas Gift Bag. Finally, on your way through the Fellowship Hall, celebrate the coming New Year by creating your own short video to share with the rest of the Peace Community of Faith digitally, with your permission.
Our Christmas Eve experience will run from 4-8 pm, broken up into 15-minute time slots. Choose your time on Sign-up Genius at https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10C084CA9AF23A7FD0-christmas1. Contact Gary (gary@peaceumc.com) with questions.
