Summer is a challenging time to find volunteers for the Good Neighbor Meal. We’re trying a new approach this year that we hope will be more efficient and effective. The link below includes ALL of the summer Good Neighbor Meal dates. So it is now possible to look several months ahead and plan your participation in the Good Neighbor Meal around trips, vacations, out-of-town guests and so forth.
Appeals will still be sent for individual meals, but we hope that enough people will take advantage of this opportunity to sign up well in advance that we will not have to send urgent appeals very often.
The next meal is July 10th. Recruiting enough volunteers for that meal is the first priority. Tim Fried and Lori Ruble are coordinating this meal while Pam is away on vacation. Please sign up to give them a hand if you can. And please consider signing up ahead of time for one of the meals during the rest of the summer.
