God often brings order to the chaos. But humans have a way of taking the good and using it for power and control. People present will have the opportunity to select a book from those we have available and place it into the library, symbolizing that we each have a part to play in offering this library to our larger community. We will then hear from City Councilperson Cory Springhorn and enjoy special book cookies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From Jean and Wayne Leatherman<\/strong> | Many of you know that our son, John, has struggled with epilepsy for most of his life. Even with constant care and medication, he continues to experience seizures once or twice a week. On Tuesday May 9th, he will have a procedure done at Mayo to implant a deep brain stimulator in his brain. We have hope, for the first time in a long time, that he will see some relief. We are asking for prayers for this procedure to be successful and for this implant to provide him some relief. There will be a lengthy recovery period before much of the results will be seen, so prayers of patience are welcome as well as prayers for the doctors\u2019 skills and treatment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Deaconx Jak Henderson (he\/him, they\/them) was consecrated last month as a deaconess\/ home missioner in New York at the national assembly.
