Also! We have a new guest worship leader joining us this week. Lauren Rotach will be with us this Sunday. She is an incredibly kind, thoughtful, loving, and talented artist. I’m excited for us to worship with her.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On Sunday, November 6th we will hold a short Charge Conference from 11:15-11:25 to officially vote on a new treasurer. With Jean Broberg coming on as our new Director of Administration, Kendal Loewen has agreed to become the next treasurer. This change needs to be conducted at a Charge Conference with a vote from the membership.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Trustees Tree Removal | Saturday, Nov 12th <\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

We have some trees that need to come down – and we would love to have help. The Trustees will be hard at work on Saturday, November 12th. Email Jim Kaufer (jimkaufer@hotmail.com<\/a>) if you are able to lend a hand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Solar Energy and Social Justice Webinar<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Nursery  <\/em><\/strong>| Sundays | During Service | Nursery<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The nursery is open to families with little ones 0-4. There will be two rotating volunteers each week. All you have to do is sign your child(ren) in the Nursery. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Children\u2019s Church<\/em><\/strong> | Sundays | During Service | Fellowship Hall<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Children\u2019s Church is for kids in Kindergarten through 5th grade.  Join us after the first hymn, Amanda and the volunteer(s) will take everyone back to Fellowship Hall. Once in the Fellowship Hall, Amanda will lead a short Bible lesson, then kids will go do art projects and talk about the lesson with a volunteer (two groups: K-2nd and 3rd-5th). After the art time, all the kids will come back together for some games and a snack before joining their family for Fellowship Time in the Commons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Encore is Peace\u2019s middle-school and high school group which meets on the 1st & 3rd Sundays from 7:00-8:30pm.  We will cover a variety of topics throughout the year and always welcome input on activities, topics, questions you have about faith, culture, politics\u2026topics you think would be helpful for a progressive, socially minded, church youth group to talk about! Feel free to bring a friend, beverage or snack.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Peace will provide cocoa, tea, water & juice. We have giant scrabble, let\u2019s see if we can get a tourney going!\u00a0 We also plan on bringing in one of the monitors to have some football games or a movie on!. If it\u2019s nice out, there are s\u2019mores left and we can have a fire, too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There will be two rotating volunteers each week. All you have to do is sign your child(ren) in the Nursery.  Children\u2019s Church | Sundays | During Service | Fellowship Hall Children\u2019s Church is for kids in Kindergarten through 5th grade.  Join us after the first hymn, Amanda and the volunteer(s) will take everyone back to Fellowship Hall. Once in the Fellowship Hall, Amanda will lead a short Bible lesson, then kids will go do art projects and talk about the lesson with a volunteer (two groups: K-2nd and 3rd-5th). After the art time, all the kids will come back together for some games and a snack before joining their family for Fellowship Time in the Commons. Encore | Sundays, November 6 & 20 |  7:00-8:30pm | Fellowship Hall Lounge Encore is Peace\u2019s middle-school and high school group which meets on the 1st & 3rd Sundays from 7:00-8:30pm.  We will cover a variety of topics throughout the year and always welcome input on activities, topics, questions you have about faith, culture, politics\u2026topics you think would be helpful for a progressive, socially minded, church youth group to talk about!
