In our culture, it’s not uncommon to feel like forgiveness comes with a catch – ‘you forgive me, but why do I feel like I owe you?’. It’s almost like a constant game of bargaining. Maybe Jesus has something different in mind when it comes to forgiveness. Maybe we are invited into something deeper. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

With Jean Broberg coming on as our new Director of Administration, Kendal Loewen has agreed to become the next treasurer. This change needs to be conducted at a Charge Conference with a vote from the membership. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Encore is Peace\u2019s middle-school and high school group which meets on the\u00a0 1st & 3rd Sundays from 7:00-8:30 PM.\u00a0Thanks for coming and sharing snacks & ideas!\u00a0 We will cover a variety of topics throughout the year and welcome input on topics, questions you have about faith, culture, politics, or other topics you think would be helpful for a progressive, socially minded, church youth group to talk about! Feel free to bring a friend, your own beverage or snack. We will have a light snack provided. Family Game night will be prior!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Children\u2019s Church is for kids in Kindergarten through 5th grade.  Join us after the first hymn, Amanda and the volunteers will take everyone back to Fellowship Hall. Once in the Fellowship Hall, Amanda will lead a short Bible lesson, then kids will go do art projects and talk about the lesson with a volunteer (two groups: K-2nd and 3rd-5th). After the art time, all the kids will come back together for some games and a snack before joining their family for Fellowship Time in the Commons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Family Ministry Updates Encore\u00a0| 1st and 3rd Sundays | 7:00-8:30pm | Fellowship Lounge Encore is Peace\u2019s middle-school and high school group which meets on the\u00a0 1st & 3rd Sundays from 7:00-8:30 PM.\u00a0Thanks for coming and sharing snacks & ideas!\u00a0 We will cover a variety of topics throughout the year and welcome input on topics, questions you have about faith, culture, politics, or other topics you think would be helpful for a progressive, socially minded, church youth group to talk about! Children\u2019s Church\u00a0| October 23 | During the Service in the Fellowship Hall Children\u2019s Church is for kids in Kindergarten through 5th grade.  Join us after the first hymn, Amanda and the volunteers will take everyone back to Fellowship Hall. Once in the Fellowship Hall, Amanda will lead a short Bible lesson, then kids will go do art projects and talk about the lesson with a volunteer (two groups: K-2nd and 3rd-5th). After the art time, all the kids will come back together for some games and a snack before joining their family for Fellowship Time in the Commons.
