Thanks for joining Peace Time, an audio worship experience with Peace Community of Faith.
During this time, we celebrate Pentecost! We have been spending time together each week being reminded that \u201clove is our religion,\u201d that our lives are centered in the God who is the power of life and that, even in the midst of death, our hearts have the Spirit of the risen Christ within, helping us, guiding us, giving us strength and courage and overflowing gratitude for each other. All of this was inspired by the early Christian community, one that was often under difficult circumstances but continued to support each other along the way:
\u201cDay by day, as they spent much time together<\/strong> in the temple, they broke bread<\/strong> at home<\/strong> and ate their food with glad and generous hearts, praising God<\/strong> and having the goodwill<\/strong> of all the people.\u201d (Acts 2: 46-47a)<\/em>
By sharing in these words and music, by sitting in your own sacred space, by breathing in and out we are communing together and are connected. This is the \u201cheart of the matter,\u201d nothing separates us from the love of God that is ours in Jesus Christ (Romans 8:39b).
So, before you listen to the Peace Time audio, I invite you to
1) make a sacred space for yourself or as a family.
2) choose a favorite beverage and food to have during the Peace Time audio.
