Reflecting Love\u2019s Light<\/strong>
This Coming Sunday: Love at the Edge<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

We can see Jesus as a reflection of God as the Spirit of Life. Love\u2019s light is essential for life. During January and February at Peace our worships will explore how we and Jesus reflect the love-light of God. This love-light is present in Jesus\u2019 forgiveness, acceptance, teaching, and compassion. Remaining open to this love-light is a life-long journey that can take many directions and has many intersections. We will go with Jesus into the Jordan River, attend a wedding, visit a synagogue, walk along the shore of the Sea of Galilee, teach on the plain, and look into the brightness of love-light.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During this week\u2019s worship experience, we will explore how love made public takes us from places of refuge and safety to the edge of the challenges of our lives and world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since a Special General Conference, the worldwide governing body of the United Methodist Church, gathered in St. Louis in February 2019 when a diverse group of United Methodists introduced a proposal for separation, a global pandemic continues to keep the denomination uneasily together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
