April 29. Our new series, to begin Saturday, May 22<\/strong>, is based on the book Freeing Jesus <\/em>by Diana Butler Bass. She contends that our experience of Jesus has changed over the years, viewing him in different ways at different times. Freeing Jesus<\/em> explores the many images of Jesus we encounter and embrace through a lifetime\u2014and how our faith is informed by the lives we live. It invites us to liberate Jesus and free ourselves when it comes to the ever-compelling and yet often-elusive figure at the center of Christian faith.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Please join us for Peace Conversations at a new time\u20149:00 to 10:00 am<\/strong> on Saturday mornings\u2014and invite a friend, as we explore questions in\u00a0Freeing Jesus<\/em>. You are welcome to read the book, but reading the book is not necessary to participate. You can find the book at Cokesbury<\/a> or Amazon<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
