Below is a link to another one of their songs, \u201cWe Shall Be Known.\u201d It counterintuitively, I think, speaks to our day as \u201cthis great turning.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed-youtube wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe title=\"&quot;We Shall Be Known&quot; - MaMuse Live in Chico January 2019\" width=\"1080\" height=\"608\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/kvGEr4P8qHM?feature=oembed\"  allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><br><strong>News from Peace:<\/strong><br>by Vee Blomgren<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Lately I have been feeling exhausted, vulnerable, emotional &amp; mentally drained.\u00a0 Although I am appreciative for the much needed \u201crest\u201d of staying home, I also miss the interaction.\u00a0 I miss hearing a corny joke from Joe, I miss hugging my ladies at church, I miss the faces, the snacks, I miss hearing Pastor Gary\u2019s childhood stories, I honestly miss ALL of you!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Most of all, I miss my Peace Kids.\u00a0 What many of you may not know is that we had a really awesome relationship.\u00a0 At least one of my youth kids had a smart ass comment that, although I would never encourage and show them, would have me smiling the rest of the week, lol.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We always spent about 2-4 minutes every Sunday where I would say something backwards or my accent would be very heavy with certain words too and they would correct me and I would tell them don\u2019t correct me it\u2019s how I say it!&nbsp; They meant no harm, as neither did I, it became our culture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Right before Covid19, we were beginning a court trial, David vs Bathsheba, and they chose sides who to defend.\u00a0 We had adults helping each side and they were so motivated and excited about it.\u00a0\u00a0 I am struggling, these times are difficult and like never before, I feel without freedom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">These times are difficult for all of us.&nbsp; Some of us are scared, some of us are tired, some of us are depressed, some of us are confused, and some of us do not understand.&nbsp; All your feelings are validated!!&nbsp; On my worst days, I remind myself<br>NO MATTER HOW MUCH DARKNESS SURROUNDS US, IT CANNOT OVERTAKE THE DIMMEST LIGHT!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">So even though these times might be difficult for all of us, DO NOT forget to remember that the God we serve is LIGHT and as long as we stand firm and trust God through our most difficult times, we will OVERCOME because through and with God, we are the LIGHT\u00a0 during these dark times.\u00a0 Chin up, family, gear up and armour yourself with God &#8212;\u00a0\u00a0 The battle is already won, we just need to hurry up and wait!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Love,<br>Vee<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>United Methodist Happenings<\/strong><br>Standing Against Racism: Rev. Most of all, I miss my Peace Kids.\u00a0 What many of you may not know is that we had a really awesome relationship.\u00a0 At least one of my youth kids had a smart ass comment that, although I would never encourage and show them, would have me smiling the rest of the week, lol. We always spent about 2-4 minutes every Sunday where I would say something backwards or my accent would be very heavy with certain words too and they would correct me and I would tell them don\u2019t correct me it\u2019s how I say it!&nbsp; They meant no harm, as neither did I, it became our culture. Right before Covid19, we were beginning a court trial, David vs Bathsheba, and they chose sides who to defend.\u00a0 We had adults helping each side and they were so motivated and excited about it.\u00a0\u00a0 I am struggling, these times are difficult and like never before, I feel without freedom. These times are difficult for all of us.&nbsp; Some of us are scared, some of us are tired, some of us are depressed, some of us are confused, and some of us do not understand.&nbsp; All your feelings are validated!!&nbsp; On my worst days, I remind myselfNO MATTER HOW MUCH DARKNESS SURROUNDS US, IT CANNOT OVERTAKE THE DIMMEST LIGHT! So even though these times might be difficult for all of us, DO NOT forget to remember that the God we serve is LIGHT and as long as we stand firm and trust God through our most difficult times, we will OVERCOME because through and with God, we are the LIGHT\u00a0 during these dark times.\u00a0 Chin up, family, gear up and armour yourself with God &#8212;\u00a0\u00a0 The battle is already won, we just need to hurry up and wait!
