I wanted to share the devotionals. They inspire me to reflect on the many things going on in my life and around me. As I write these questions, I am sharing them with you and hope they can bring about clarity and peace.<br><br>If some of you are interested in starting a biweekly group where we can dive in deeper and converse with one another about these reflections via zoom, please email me and let me know.<br><br>#1\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 When your world is dark and threatening, come to me.\u00a0 Pour your heart to me, knowing I\u2019m listening\u2014and I care.\u00a0 Find comfort in sovereignty: I\u2019m in control even when global events look terribly out of control.\u00a0 Actually, many things are not as they should be, not as they were created to be.\u00a0 You do well to yearn for perfect goodness\u2014someday those longings will be wondrously satisfied.\u00a0 Consider the prophet Habakkuk as he waited the Babylonian invasion of Judah.\u00a0 He knew the attack would be brutal, and he wrestled deeply with this prophetic knowledge.\u00a0 Finally, though, he wrote a hymn of absolute confidence in me.\u00a0 After describing utterly desperate circumstances, he concluded:\u00a0<em>\u201cYet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will be joyful in God my Savior.\u201d<\/em><br>~<em>Psalm 62:8, Revelation 22:5, Habakkuk 3:17-19,\u00a0Psalm 42:5<\/em><br><br><em>Sarah Young\u2019s Devotional \u201cEmbracing Joy in His Presence\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>How do you receive knowing that God acknowledges your \u201cdark\u201d times and is listening and cares?<\/li><li>How does many things not being as they should be, apply to you?<\/li><li>Feel free to wrestle with me about your concerns.\u00a0\u00a0<em>I am your STRENGTH!\u00a0 &#8211; Translate this<\/em>\u00a0<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>L.I.F.E. goes to Africa!<\/strong><br>A Zoom meeting has been scheduled with presenter Tanner Mazanec, who will share experiences from his recent time with the Peace Corps in Africa.
