It has been my (Dave Tidball) privilege for the past three years to sing with this wonderful group of musicians who are dedicated both to presenting quality musical performances and to supporting local non-profit organizations that are doing extraordinary work in our local communities.
Each year we provide a 90-minute experience of wonderful choral music in a program that includes both a partnering local music artist and information presented by a local non-profit about the important work that they do in our community. An opportunity is presented during the concert for the audience to contribute financially to this local non-profit. Your ticket money supports the ongoing organizational needs of VocalPoint Chorus so that all of the money donated during the concert can go to our featured non-profit organization.
Our musical artist partner this year is Minneapolis-based blues singer/songwriter Chastity Brown. More information about her is available on her website linked here.
Our partner non-profit organization this year is The Lift Garage, a Minneapolis-based non-profit that works to help low-income residents acquire and maintain affordable and reliable automobiles necessary to secure and maintain employment and to provide reliable transportation for all of the many transportation needs of typical metro area residents and their families. More information about The Lift Garage is available on their website linked here.
The cheapest way to acquire tickets to the in-person concerts is to get them from me (Dave Tidball) on Sunday morning, Wednesday evening, by mail or other mutually agreed arrangement. Tickets for the Live-Stream Concerts are best obtained through the web link above. In-person tickets may also be purchased through that same web link if that is more convenient for you. Send me an email if you have questions at dave@peaceumc.com.
It would be an honor to provide a wonderful experience of music for you as I join my chorus friends in presenting these concerts, and I believe that you would feel very positive in supporting this very worthy organization in the important work that they do.
