For those who were not able to attend the State of Peace meeting on Sunday, September 11, the link to the video is below.
At this meeting we heard updates from Trustees, SPRC, Finance, and Pastor Jason.
One the exciting announcements was a clarification on our church name. We will now be called: PEACE, A United Methodist Community. We believe this accurately represents who we are and who we have been, while acknowledging our affiliation with the Minnesota Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church.
Additionally, we announced a new slogan: Reconciling & Growing FOR EVERYONE. Our hope is that this phrase will help provide an easy way for people to tell others about our church. We also created ‘key messages’ that support and further explain who we are.
