Last Sunday’s All-Church Conference
Members and participants present at this special meeting on December 5 following worship approved the pastoral support package and church operations budget for 2022, approved re-financing our mortgage, and approved leadership teams for 2022.

Thank you to everyone who attended and to everyone who supported our successful stewardship campaign! With the inclusion of our estimated commitments and anticipated rental income to our commitments received, the approved budget shows anticipated revenue that is slightly higher than anticipated expenses.

It’s not too late to gift Peace with a matching grant. New donors may participate by setting up recurring payments in SimpleChurch that will start by December 31. SimpleChurch will match that first gift, up to $50 per gift, to a maximum of $1000 to our church.

Remember to update your bank or other financial institution (including Simple Church) if you have decided to increase or otherwise change the amount of your payments in 2022.

Family Ministries Christmas Party
While all are welcome, Family Ministries events focus on children and youth. On Sunday, December 12, from 11:15 am-1:00 pm, Family Ministries will host lunch and activity stations for crafts, readings, holiday photo opportunities, and light snacks in the Fellowship Hall.

During all of our events, we plan on following pandemic procedures emphasizing distance socializing and masking inside unless eating/drinking.

Poinsettia time!
Order now to get a poinsettia! Our sanctuary decorators have purchased 18 and they are in place already. You’re invited to reimburse Peace for one or more of these ($13 apiece), and we’ll order more if you request it. Please email Cindy (cindy@peaceumc.com) and tell her if you’d like red, white, or candy pink, and get the check or cash to her on Sunday (there’ll be an order form in the bulletin) or by mail. You may indicate if the plant is ‘in honor of’ or ‘in memory of’ someone special in your life. Please respond no later than Sunday, December 12.

In the past, we’ve also collected money to donate to our local Ralph Reeder Food Shelf. You’re welcome to donate to them directly at any time on their website.
