A special invitation from Sue Fried, Peace Church–
I am a member of the Northern Lights Chorale and after a shutdown of over 17 months, we are masked and singing again. Our program is called The Awakening and it uses music to re-tell of the COVID journey we have all survived. Popular music such as The Sound of Silence and Bridge Over Troubled Water combined with other choral standards remind us of the wide range of emotions and hardships we endured. Our message of hope reminds us of the beauty of life and the power of music.
Our only concert this fall will be on Sunday, November 14th at 3:00 p.m. in the Benson Great Hall on the Bethel University campus (3900 Bethel Drive in St. Paul). It is a beautiful space with wonderful acoustics.
While there is no admission charge, donations will be accepted.
Fully vaccinated people will have the option of wearing or not wearing masks.
Parking is free.
