Sunday Preview (December 18, 2022)
Advent! | ‘A Light Has Come’ | On this advent journey we started to hear the story of the magi coming to visit Jesus. They brought three gifts: gold, frankincense, and myrrh. Why those gifts? What could they mean?
Are you ready for some beautiful music?! This Sunday we have a special musical Sunday planned. The choir will be with us, Kara Baldwin will be doing a bell solo, and David Trelles will be playing the violin! What a wonderful way to enter into the final week of advent.

Join us on Christmas Eve for a special carols and candles service. (The 4pm service will feature a few elements for those with younger children.)
Christmas Morning at Peace
Christmas day is on a Sunday this year! Join us in the Fellowship Hall for a time of good food and good company. Wear your favorite Christmas pajamas, because it’s still Christmas morning!
Sign-up HERE to bring an egg bake or something equally as scrumptious.
Peace is making the cinnamon rolls! So come hungry!!!
Also…don’t forget to wear your Christmas pajamas! (I know that you think I’m joking when I say this…but just wait and see what I’m wearing on Christmas morning!)

Winter Supply Drive for the Good Neighbor Center
Help support those who need some winter supplies by bringing items to PEACE.
Bags and gift cards are being provided by the can recycling fund. We need your help to stuff the bags full of winter supplies. The list of items is below:
- Socks – packs of 6 (for adults only)
- Warm Winter Gloves (for adults only)
- Toothbrush/ Toothpaste (NO MORE NEEDED)
- Shampoo/ Conditioner
- Body Lotion/ Bar Soap
Please bring these items to the church by Sunday, December 25th.
(There will be labeled bins near the name tag bulletin board in The Commons.)

Family Ministry Updates
Lets Lefse!
Encore (Peace Youth) are making lefse (never lutefisk) this Sunday, after church in the Fellowship Hall. This is our second time making lefse, so we are basically professionals. Everyone is invited to participate; the more the merrier!! We will provide the tools, a teacher (thanks, Mom!), aprons (can get messy) and all the lefse you can eat and take home! Peace will also be providing a light lunch. Looking forward to seeing you!
