Help with community yard work
Help seniors in our community get their yards ready for summer! Northeast Youth & Family Services (NYFS) is currently recruiting volunteers, and Peace is organizing teams to help. Work will be conducted according to current COVID-19 safety protocols to protect both volunteers and seniors. Tasks may include raking leaves, mowing lawns, weeding, trimming and putting out lawn furniture. Saturday’s cleanup is being canceled due to the weather, and will be rescheduled for either additional teams on May 7, or for May 21st, from 9 am to around noon.
Tim Fried will lead a team on May 7th. If you’d like to help out on either the 7th or the 21st, please contact Chuck at cnlmonroe@comcast.net.
Thanks for considering these opportunities to serve our neighbors.

Are you a gardener?
Please consider joining the Garden Group to help improve and maintain the gardens at church. Most weeks include lights weeding, deadheading, and watering. Two individuals are assigned to a week at a time for a total of four to five times between the end of May to the beginning of October. Let’s keep Peace looking beautiful.
