First, tell us the amount of your commitment. You can do this in one of three ways:
1. online—go to the Participant page of our website and find links to a commitment form, an instructional video for how to create or update a recurring donation in SimpleChurch, and the SimpleChurch site to make a one-time donation or to set up a recurring payment,
2. by mail—your first letter included a commitment form, a draft budget for 2022, and a self-addressed stamped envelope. After your consideration, please complete and sign the paper commitment form, put it in the enclosed envelope, and drop it in the mail, or
3. in person—a member of the Finance Committee will be available in the Commons after worship throughout November to accept your commitment forms and answer any questions you may have.
If you haven’t yet considered making automatic recurring payments through our SimpleChurch online giving program, this is a great time to think about it. For every gift from a new recurring donor that is added between November 1 and December 31, with the first payment made in December, SimpleChurch will match that first gift, up to $50 per gift and a maximum of $1000 for our church.
Second, remember to update your bank or other financial institution (including SimpleChurch) if you are already making automatic recurring payments and you decide to increase or otherwise change the amount of your payments in 2022. Submitting the commitment form to us does not constitute a financial arrangement for transfer of funds to Peace.
Please submit your commitment by November 21, 2021, Celebration Sunday. Then attend the All-Church Conference/Congregational Meeting on Sunday, December 5, to discuss and vote on the budget for next year.
