Celebrate the blessing that animals bring us by bringing your pet to either worship service on Sunday, August 30 and introducing them.

 

A memorial service for John Norton will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, September 6.

 

THIS IS THE LAST WEEK TO COLLECT SCHOOL SUPPLIES.  We still can use more supplies to donate to children that need school supplies to help them be successful in their education.  School Tools Collection Dates:  August 9th – 30^th.   Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.  -Nelson Mandela.  Give homeless and low-income children the tools they need to flourish in school!  Please drop off school supplies in the Commons Area in the designated box.

 

Another idea has come for Sunday School.   It is is to have every Sunday School group meet at 11:00 a.m.  I am hoping to have a survey ready when we all register on September 13 and then we will get a better sense of things.  The problem we are trying to solve is that several people have indicated that 9:00 is too early and many people come late to Sunday School.  Every solution has its own problems of course.
