Thank you to Mary Shake and Laurie Pouliot for sponsoring and preparing the Good Neighbor Meal on Saturday, April 25th at Berean Church. Thanks also to members of the Celebration Chorale for donating cakes, serving the meal, and helping with the cleanup afterwards. Approximately 140 guests enjoyed sloppy Joes, baked beans, fruit cocktail and cake.
Sara Liegl of Project Home, St. Paul Council of Churches, will present the Adult Education hour on Sunday, April 26. She will talk about homelessness and about our involvement. The Project did not receive funding for the overflow shelter they had hoped to conduct at Peace in June. But they may have funding for September.
